Not a race I’m super confident in. WINGS OF PASTRAMI has been bursting to break through and maps well from the good barrier. She’ll appreciate getting to the bigger track. ALL HARD WOOD is going super and defeated Melody Man here three starts back before a soft Penola win. EXALTED AMBITION is going well and must be respected while STAR STATUS is always thereabouts.

RACE 2 - 1:06PM Fleurieu Milk Company Maiden Plate (1200 METRES)
Host of these accepted at Murray Bridge on Friday. ARRAN BAY has trialled well and was well backed to win at Murray Bridge and has been $13 into $6 to win this race despite a sticky gate. JAAZEB was backed off the map and looked to have her chance behind Philonize last time. She’s the one punters are keen on and getting to 1200m looks ideal. JOHNNY THUNDER was good first-up from a spell but draws the car park and has drifted since the markets opened. VINTAGE FOLLY is a watch on debut for the McEvoy stable and has been to the trials four times.

RACE 3 - 1:41PM Canadian Club Rebel Raider Series Final (Qualified Horses) (1200 METRES)
KARACASU is a smart horse who carried a big weight to victory first-up. He draws out but there will be good speed here and he can measure up in better races. PHILONIZE is a very good filly with speed to burn and will no doubt be spearing across from her wide gate. She was strong through the line last week and will give them something to chase. MANHATTEN TIMES was a good winner here two starts back before no luck at Sandown, while stablemate HOPON HARRY is an improving type who won well controlling the race on speed last time.

RACE 4 - 2:16PM White Claw Handicap (1200 METRES)
EXTRA TIME has been super impressive this time in his only defeat coming at the hands of Lombardo two starts back. He maps perfectly and is the one to beat. PINDARIC is an exciting prospect who won his first five races before failing on a heavy track here in July. He draws a good gate and has massive upside. ROYAL MILE is an exciting horse first-up since the Derby. He has huge upside and could run a big race fresh over the 1200m. STREET TOUGH has been bursting to break through and was good behind Free Of Debt last time and TERBIUM was well backed when 4th behind Free Of Debt in the Wylie Stakes last time.

RACE 5 - 2:51PM Allegion Handicap (Heat 9 Viddora Series) (1200 METRES)
BROWNIE comes to Adelaide winning her past two as an odds-on favourite at Mildura and Kilmore. She draws out wide but looks a horse with plenty of talent and will take some beating. HEARTY LASS bombed the start and struggled to keep up before being only beaten 4.8 lengths behind So You Can last time out and has trialled well since. She opened $13 and is already less than half that quote. CHILL WITH TEEJAY is a promising type who defeated Effortkat here back in January and was a good Murray Bridge winner in April. She draws well and the Hardacre stable is going well.

RACE 6 - 3:30PM Melbourne Cup Day at Morphettville - Tuesday November 2nd Handicap (1200 METRES)
LAKE’S FOLLY is a month between runs and has won two, placed two of five starts this track and trip. She maps well from the good barrier and looks well over the odds. NONAME LANE was a good winner two starts back and then OK behind Perfect Route. ROCK HARBOUR has been placed at his past couple. He draws wide but is more than capable with the right run. OCEAN REWARD was good behind The Billionaire last week and must be respected. CALL ME SHAMUS was getting out over a trip at the end of last campaign but has trialled nicely and gets in well with the claim. EL MAGNIFICENCE comes off two Balaklava wins and is worth some thought.

RACE 7 - 4:12PM South Adelaide Panthers Handicap (1100 METRES)
CROWNED MONARCH is a former Victorian first-up for David Jolly. She has won two of six, trialled nicely and should be right in the finish here. SQUIZZY MIZZY was well backed to win first-up for the Stokes stable and draws to get every chance from the inside barrier. SHE’S ESTELLE has won two of her past three and must be respected despite a sticky wide barrier. OUTPOST was a good winner here last week at nice odds, OUR DEEP AGENDA can improve second-up.

Race 8 - 4:56PM Access Hardware Handicap (Heat 7 Riziz Series) (1050 METRES)
CALYPSO REIGN is a nice type who has won three of 16 and was a good winner over Heyington Station at Murray Bridge back in January and ran well behind Mileva in the Manihi. He’s trialled OK and should run well fresh in race that looks to have good speed. Stablemate HOWL is a promising type who was super impressive coming off the speed to win back in class and has had a trial in between. METEORITE is one who likes to roll along and gets in well here after the claim. He was a Mornington winner four starts back and is sure to give them something to chase. DANTREE was good winning first-up from a break and has always had talent. LARKHAM was backed to run favourite behind Alleboom last time but draws wide. TRYGVE was racing very good before a break.

RACE 9 - 5:35PM Grand Syndicates - Race with Team Grand Handicap (Heat 4 Happy Trails Series) (1600 METRES)
GRACIEBIRD draws wide but she is a horse who will love the jump to the mile. She opened at $26 which didn’t last long and she’s worth an each-way ticket in a very open race. APACHE STAR won consecutive races before a good effort when 3rd behind Crown Mint after leading last time. She’s going super but has a horror draw to overcome. YEELANNA was strong late scoring at big odds at Balaklava last time but is another who draws wide but getting to the mile should suit. COMFORT GIRL made good ground last time out and is another who will appreciate getting out in distance. BOLT BY draws a middle gate and is capable.
